Moor Boxes

Box Frames

These small dioramas are built into Box Frames as static models. They are hung on the wall.

The Engine Shed

This is a 3" deep frame. It features a country Engine Shed built in part relief, along with a water tower.

The Prairie Tank locomotive is by Graham Farish but was faulty, so it's used here glued to the rails.

Old Town & Country Farm

Two scenes in one Frame!

The frame is a Hobbycraft Tea Chest box that has been modified to serve as a frame. Inside it was split into six compartments but they were taken out and a single shelf section intersted.

The top shows an old town with timber frame buildings and a clock tower. A tram passes by in front of the buildings along the old cobbled street.

The bottom is a small farm cottage and barn separated by a narrow lane.

In both scenes the buildings are by Metcalfe, and the tram and tractor are from Oxford Models. The overhead wire is a bit of fuse wire attached to a couple of Kato Catenary poles.
