Moor Boxes

The Village Square

Part of 'The Cleeve Tram Line'

< Back to 'The Cleeve Tram Line'

The Village square is just that, an idyllic small village scene somewhere in little England. At the back of the box are castle walls and towers with tudor style half-timbered shops. The Tram line runs along the cobbled street.

In the centre is the village square, featuring a Market Buttercross and market stalls. This was semi-scratch built using a download kit from the Wordsworth models website. However, all their kits are OO so it had to be re-sized for N Gauge, and then mounted on card to build.

The castle walls are extended around part of the box to form the tram line exits to the other boxes. The Red Lion pub is made from Metcalfe's Town End Cottage with a scratched sign.

There is just one single line of track (Peco setrack) through the box and no electrical connections as they are within other boxes.
